Visa entry regulations for The Gambia
German citizens
German citizens can stay up to 4 weeks in The Gambia without applying for a visa in advance. Should you wish to stay longer, you can obtain an application for your visa for entry into The Gambia from our Honorary Consulates.
To successfully obtain a visa, you must follow these steps:

Official documents
For the issuance of a visa we need:
- Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months)
- One recent passport photo

Information
Download the application form, fill it with your data, print it, sign it and attach it to the other documents.

Fees
€ 55,-
Please enclose this fee in cash as well as a sufficiently stamped envelope for a registered letter with your address with the documents.

The visa is valid for three months and can be extended there.

Different rules apply for citizens of other countries. In some countries, in addition or as an alternative to the visa, a "clearance document" is issued by us.
